Mon Château is the main building of the hotel. There are 11 rooms, 6 Comfort Double rooms, 2 DeLuxe Double rooms and 3 DeLuxe Suites. All of these rooms are in the style of French provincial mansions.
Red-checked fabrics were fashionable in the 18th century. Often curtains, canopies, drapery were made of this material. “Toiles” with pastoral scenes were popular. Smaller pieces of furniture appeared in ladies’ boudoirs. In opulent places dark colours were frequent, deep apple-green, blackberry blue and a dark red inspired by Japanese imari porcelain. In smaller boudoirs, however, lighter colours of the palette were popular.
