Among beautiful things in Amade

Herend porcelain

We serve tea from handpainted Herend porcelain. At the 1851 London world exhibition, the colourful butterflies so caught Queen Victoria’s fancy, that she immediately ordered a dinner service. The royal design was called Viktória in her memory. Today the Viktória design is the ornament of royal tables. The scaly animal figures were Princess Diana’s favourites.

Beside the tea set with Apponyi pattern, Viktória pattern or Princess Diana`s favourite scaly animal figures, you can find many other pieces of  the Herend Porcelain Manufactury. Each of them is a piece of art and can be bought in the hotel, thanks to the cooperation of Hotel Amade with the Herend Porcelain Manufactury.

Pashmin

Hand-made Pashmina accessories are available at the reception desk in a range of sizes from scarf to stole. Pashmina is a fine type of cashmere wool, which comes from four distinct breeds of the Cashmere goat. The textiles made from it were first woven in Kashmir. Our beautifully woven Pashmina accessories were made by Mária Nagy from Kútniky, who is devoted to weaving traditional patterns. They are known for their softness and warmth.
